I must love what I do because I have been providing tax preparation and financial services to individuals, small businesses, cottage industries and in-home child care providers for thirty+ years. We have built an interesting client base of multi-generational long-term clients, new meets and word-of-mouth referrals. I like my clients.

Pat_003_S_What distinguishes US-TaxLaws.com and its sister-site, ChildCareTaxSpecialists.com, from other tax preparation and financial consulting services is in our client experience philosophy: If the client is happy, they stay.

We strive to make tax preparation and filing as painless as possible, because we know it’s stressful. Our objective is always to reduce that stress.  I believe the client experience begins the moment they walk through the door, or call on the phone.  Our clients use our services year-round.  We  are always there to help them through their life-events like starting a new business, moving, marriage, divorce, new family, new home, selling old home, right up to and including helping them prepare for, and entering into, retirement. It’s what we do.

We have another simple philosophy: We make your taxes work for you.  We all pay taxes, but the question is how much, and why.  We’re your tax advocate. We help you maximize your deductions and recordkeeping so you only have to pay what you need to, and not a penny more.  We’re your advocate.

For more than 18 years, I  have been giving seminars for the YMCA Child Resource Services in Mission Valley, San Diego to new and established Child Care Providers. As part of their licensing & certification training, I provide seminars that are all about child care tax preparation, record keeping, audits and general tax law.

As an Enrolled Agent, I am a federally authorized tax practitioner who has the technical expertise in the field of taxation and is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections, and appeals.

As of September 1, 2010, tax preparers are subject to higher standards and must complete testing, as well as 15 hours of continuing education per year. We far exceed the annual continuing education requirements and our goal is not just to meet the minimum standard, but to exceed it.  And that is how we interact with our clients.  We don’t just want to meet your needs, we want to exceed your expectations.
